11월중 요세미티 하프돔-클라우드 레스트 다녀오기

11월중에는 Little Yosemite Valley 에 1박하고 요세미티 하프돔 한번 갈까  생각중입니다. 11월1일 ~ 4월30일까지는 온라인 예약이 아닌 Self Registration으로 퍼밋을 확보할수 있답니다.

날씨나 제반 요건이 따라줘야 해서 그때 가서 봐야 알겠지만 이 기간 하프돔/Cloud Rest 하이킹에 관심 있는분 따로 연락 바랍니다. 백팩킹 Fee도 따로 필요가 없네여.

날씨만 따라주면 저희 산악회에서 Half Dome무료로 하루 접수 할수 있을거 같아여. Visitor Center가서 등록하고 퍼밋 받아서 토요일에 LYV가서 1박, 일요일 하프돔 다녀와서

Back Home하면 아주 좋은 스케줄 같아요.(날씨가 따라줘야 하겠지만.... 천둥번개 있는날엔 절대로 가면 안됨.)

Reservations end October 31st, 2020 but you are still required to have a permit when going into the back country. Self-register permits will begin November 1st, 2020.

Wilderness permits are obtained for free via self-registration through one of the following means: for all hikes starting in Yosemite Valley (including Happy Isles), you must self-register at the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center during business hours. For all hikes starting outside Yosemite Valley, you may register at the Big Oak Flat Visitor Center, Hetch Hetchy Entrance Gate, Wawona Hills Studio Center, or the Badger Pass A-Frame.

Additionally, you may rent bear canisters and purchase maps and guides the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center (open all year).

참가예정 : 아리송(?), FAB, 태양/크리스탈,밴프,동행,샛별,Ken,바다/둘리,저니/미미+1,소암,안데스 (14~15명)

 

하프돔 산행 준비물:  

harness, locking carabiner (2 each), rope (6이나 7mm/length:10M), 비옷,

extra jacket, gloves (cable 잡고 올라갈때 사용), Headlamp (extra battery),
장갑 (새벽에 일찍 출발하므로 손 시려움 방지), 무전기,
배낭도 백팩킹용 배낭, 하프돔 등반시는 간단한 Daypack용 배낭 따로 준비 

하프돔-클라우드레스트 둘다 산행 계획하시는 분들은 물 2리터 + 점심.
