6월말 부터 10월초,  야생화 는 7월말에서 8월초에 핀다.

[물]

Big Meadow trailhead  0.7 마일남쪽에 있는Big Meadow creek 은  여름이 지나면 물이 말라버린다.  

Meiss Meadows 에 있는  Upper Truckee River, Showers Lake 에는 물이 항상있다.
Shower Lake 과  Echo Summit 사이에는 물이 귀하다.

Round Lake 북서쪽,      Showers Lake,     Bryan Meadow (next to creek) 쪽에서 캠핑 할수있다

[트레일] 

Moderately Strenuous

hikers and equestrians.   자전거 트레픽은 Big Meadow trailhead 에서 the PCT junction (9.8 round trip) 까지만.

3개 의 호수를 지나간다--------- Round Lake, Dardanelles, Showers Lake
야생꽃이 많이피는 7월에 가면 좋은 곳입니다.

▲ Open meadows with wildflower displays

Side Trips:

(1)   Dardanelles Lake is 3.4 mi from Big Meadow trailhead.

(2)   Lake / Christmas Valley trail is a great option for bikers starting at Big Meadow trailhead. 

[3 Trailheads]
Big Meadow: On Hwy 89,   5.3 mile South of junction with Hwy 50 in Meyers. Paved and horse trailer parking, vault toilets.

Echo Summit: On South side of Hwy 50 at Echo Summit in Sno-Park lot. Paved parking, no facilities.

Echo Lake: Turn N off Hwy 50,    0.5 mile West of Echo Summit and follow Echo Lake signs 1 mile to paved lot. Vault toilets. Seasonal store has limited supplies.
